Many producers, small niche labels, self-releasing artists and managers know that, irrespective of genre, all roads point to digital in some shape or form.
Yet whilst knowing that an online presence is as essential as it is desirable, many remain unclear, if not bewildered, as to how best establish and maintain an online presence - much less how to reach, engage and grow a subscriber base.

And the growing number of formats, distribution channels & platforms, coupled with advancing technology only serve to confuse the picture for many wishing to occupy the digital space.

This 2-part session seeks to enable those starting out in cyberspace, to navigate the digital maze – what are the options, how do you sell online from your own website, how do you get onto third party download platforms, how much is it going to cost, what's realistic and affordable, who are the specialists? These and many more questions will be answered by a panel of digital experts and online marketing gurus.

Panel:
Ian Bell (Content Manager, 7 Digital), Gary McClarnan (Founder, Sparklestreet), Laura Seach (New Media Manager, Ninjatune), Chris Thompson (Founder, emusu.com), Ronnie Traynor (COO, Tune Tribe), Simon Quance (Service Development, Community & Viral Marketing, Hyperlaunch)

Chaired by: Harry Leckstein (MD, Freeport Records & Founder, London Urban Collective)

Price:
Students, concessions & MPG members: £10
