West Parade
Buxton, New South Wales 2571

Steam trains, family fun, old style carnival atmosphere and Santa! will be the feature of the Buxton Bush Christmas Festival when the township of Buxton celebrates Christmas and village lifestyle. Buxton, in the heart of Wollondilly is 20 minutes from Picton located just over an hour south west of Sydney.
Highlights:
Last running day for steam trains in 2012.
Santa will travel on the first train from Thirlmere arriving at Buxton at 9.50am and be available for photos with children
The Buxton Bushrangers will board the trains at Couridjah and travel to Buxton for fun and mayhem. They are friendly but armed. Their grievance is with the troopers not the general public. While they will rob anyone for a gold or silver coin, the Buxton community know they are kind hearted and happy to answer questions about their authentic gear.
