What: A night of silly rock ‘n roll with Butch Whacks and the Glass Packs! Butch Whacks and the Glass Packs is a one-of-a-kind thirteen member entertainment phenomenon that has combined the best of vintage rock 'n roll with hilarious comedy sketchwork for over thirty years! Started as a college-age diversion, Butch Whacks and the Glass Packs evolved into both a solid nightclub attraction as well as a fitting complement to such certified concert "draws" as The Doobie Brothers, Pointer Sisters and Boz Scaggs.

Who: After Butch Whacks' initial heyday in the '70s, the band, founded by now-attorney Jerry Murphy and his longtime successful writer-producer brother Gary, and anchored performance-wise by actor-comedian BOB SARLATTE, collectively put away the gags and guitars in 1976--not to surface again until 1983. It was then that The Glass Packs embarked on a series of annual "Farewell Performances" that have been instant sellouts for twenty years, originally at San Francisco's Great American Music Hall, and Bimbo's in San Francisco - and now in Mill Valley!
