Burton Veterans Parade and Drumhead Service June 22, 2008

Veterans Parade & Drumhead Service. The Parade starts from the Primary School in Cambell Road at 2.30pm to Burton Green, distant 1/2 mile. Parade led by the RBL Band from Christchurch. A salute will be taken in Salisbury Road on the green.
veterans Badges will be issued after the Parade to local veterans. Free parking is at the football ground at the junction of Stony Lane and Salisbury Rd, Disable drivers can park near the green in the Dr. surgary car park. A minibus will be touring the village picking up Veterans to get to the start of the parade. normal parade dress with medals. refreshment stand and bar available. entertainment after the drumhead service. Come and help Celebrate the contribution made by ex-servicemen & women. Do come along and support us!
