We spent our time in the desert wandering among the stars, and now it is time to shed cold space for warm contact, to trade the rhythms of planetary movement for the pulse of living blood.

We invite everyone to contribute art that ranges from the meteoric to the microscopic and celebrates the cosmic connection between all that is around us and all that IS us: the science and emotion that inspires and animates our bodies. The daytime portion of the event will include free healing arts workshops, yoga and pilates classes, children's activities, live music and dancing, and the initial opportunity to view art from the Burning Man community and beyond. After 8pm, hear live and electronic music in three sound spaces, see performances that include burlesque, hooping and fire spinning. Watch and join in the unique fashion of the Burning Man community take to the runway and wander through art installations and video projections. Drink Specials all day and all night (till 4:00am).

Note:100% of the profits from the Astral Slide NYC Decompression 2004 event are being given out as art grants to artists in NYC three months after completing Dec.5th event.
All finances for Astral Slide Decompression 2004 will be completely transparent.
