On Saturday October 29th, The Onion, Heineken and Wasabassco Productions team up to present: Burlesquerade, a brilliantly decadent and slightly sinful Halloween costume party and burlesque extravaganza at NorthSix in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Wasabassco?s biggest event ever kicks off with the fabulous country/hip-hop stylings of Battlestar America ?rocking two turntables and a fiddle, [they] will get you bobbing your head until your neck turns red? Award Winning Stand-Up Comic and Magician Albert Cadabra delivers powerful, amazing and devilishly wild magic as he MCs the night and introduces the absolute best burlesque performers from the five boroughs. Gracing the spooky stage will be the intoxicating Anita Cookie, Gigi La Femme putting the ?ooh? in Ooh La La, the incredibly unforgettable Seth Herzog, The Love Show putting a modern twist on a Fosse feel, salacious sweetie Mama Lou, the hula hoopin? Miss Saturn, Nasty Canasta?s wicked sense of humor, Peekaboo Pointe and her sweet pouty smile, the scintillating Scarlet Sinclair, and the impeccable Scott Rayow. Stadium seating at NorthSix means everybody can see the show, and with Wasabassco-a go-go dancers on the front stage, there?s something always going on.

Throughout the night, revelers can enjoy Heineken drink specials, and because costumes are mandatory, the audience becomes part of the show when the funniest, spookiest, and sexiest audience members are awarded prizes for the best costumes. Just a few of the categories include: sexiest guy, sexiest girl, shiniest costume, best use of a monkey, and most elaborate. The party keeps going when Brooklyn?s own DJ DP One plays a banging hip-hop set to keep dancing going ?til the break of dawn.
