Burkhardt Klaussner Screening: THE EDUKATORS March 28, 2011

In anticipation of our Hollywood Talks Shop Special with Burkhardt Klaussner, the Goethe-Institut is screening three films starring the outstanding German actor:

THE EDUKATORS

Dir. Hans Weingaertner, Germany 2004, 129 min, German with English subtitles, digital

Jan and Peter and Jule fight against social injustice by breaking into the houses of “the filthy rich” and leaving chaos behind to teach them a lession.
One day, they are caught by surprise and the break-in turns into a kidnapping. Burghardt Klaussner plays the abducted top manager, played by Burkhardt Klaussner.
"The Edukators", Hans Weingartner’s second feature film, was selected for competition at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival.
