The second installment in the Bummer Camp series is a show we have been trying to get for years so it is with great pride we announce the first Manchester performance from SSION AKA Cody Critcheloe. Playing with a full band for one of the last night’s of his first European tour in years.

SSION, pronounced 'shun', as in mission, ambition, or shunning day jobs and making art for a living, creates sultry pop with a disco backbone. Elaborate stage shows involving garish sets and costumes; and the kind of attitude-heavy electro pop that would go over equally well at the gay disco as the queercore dive bar make SSION’s FIRST EVE in Manchester one to not be missed.

However, SSION is not just a musician, but an artist and video maker too, having created videos for Beth Ditto & CSS and album artwork for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs amongst his credentials. This is evident in his own costume & videos.

For this series we will be running a deal where you can attend both Bummer Camp shows on a buy one get one half price basis.
