Built to Spill hails from the unlikely town of Boise, ID. One of the most popular indie rock acts of the '90s, Built to Spill found the middle ground between postmodern, Pavement-style pop and the loose, spacious jamming of Neil Young. Singer/songwriter/guitarist Doug Martsch is at the core of the band, which has released six studio and one live album. Their most recent is 'You in Reverse.'
