Building Safer Communities October 3, 2009

The Shops at Sunset Place will be hosting a family safety awareness day to celebrate “Celebrating Safe Communities” event on Sat., Oct. 3, 2009 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the first level of The Shops at Sunset Place near Dan Marino’s Town Tavern.
This free-to-the-public event will help parents teach their kids to play it safe by featuring safety demonstrations, providing free DNA kits for fingerprinting, bicycle safety demonstrations and more. In addition, kids can have their photos taken with McGruff the Crime Dog®, meet and greet a real K-9 trained dog and enjoy many other activities and live entertainment.
