Vince Maniago, Product Manager for Yahoo's social events site, Upcoming, will discuss how individuals and organizations can use Upcoming as a platform to promote their events and ideas: http://upcoming.yahoo.com/

Speaker Bios:
Ian Kennedy joined Yahoo! two years ago with roles in Corporate Development and the Yahoo Publisher Network. He is currently Product Manager for MyBlogLog, a service Yahoo! acquired in January 2007.
Prior to Yahoo!, Ian was Director of Sales & Partner Development at Six Apart where he helped establish the TypePad business class program and Movable Type's Hosting Partner program.
Gordon Strause joined Yahoo! in early 2005 after a career that has been roughly equally divided between the nonprofit and social software worlds.
In the nonprofit sector, Gordon helped to start City Year, and has also worked or consulted for Citizen Schools, the Hands On Network, the Community Health Corps, and One Economy.
In the technology sector, Gordon has worked at Firefly, Well Engaged, eCircles, and Judy's Book, in addition to Yahoo!.
Vince Maniago is so vain his bio wouldn't fit in this space, but he is the guy who tries to pull it all together for Upcoming. He also has the amazing ability to finish anyone's sentences but his own. He's a huge fan and enabler of things like Hack Day, Mashup Camp and Open APIs.
