Building Lives and Communities Charity Event in NYC April 26, 2006

SUS (Services for the UnderServed) will celebrate 27 years of "Building Lives and Communities" for individuals and families with special needs at Gotham Hall, 1356 Broadway at 36th Street. The cocktail reception from 6 PM - 9 PM will honor Sal Ferro, President of Alure Home Improvements and partner of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition for his dedication to providing homes for families living with challenges, and Hon. Peter M. Rivera, Chair of the NYS Assembly Committee on Mental Illness, Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities for his advocacy on behalf of New Yorkers with disabilities. The reception will feature the Ed Stoute Jazz Trio, a silent auction, and an auction of art produced by individuals with disabilities. Tickets are $200.
