Building a Culture of ParticipationParticipation Works will be delivering a Building a Culture of Participation course.
This course aims to equip individuals with basic theory and practical approaches to participation, to help them build a culture of participation.
Building a Culture of Participation explores how an organisations culture can be established to support children and young peoples active and meaningful participation across the organisation The course is supported by an in-depth research and handbook, which was originally created by the National Childrens Bureau and PK Research Consultancy for the DCSF. It is based on developing skills and knowledge in participation, involving self and organisational analysis as well as action planning. This course may lead on to gaining one to one advice and support from an approved Participation Works consultant.
Places are free for Third sector organisations and will be allocated on a first come first served basis and limited to one person per organisation. There are also a limited number of fee paying places for statutory sector organisations.
