In this workshop, students learn to look inward to discover within the mind the root of frustrations, failings, and even misfortunes. Potent meditations and analyses are introduced to penetrate emotionality and transform inner and outer experience through a natural clarity and ease. No prior meditation experience is necessary.

Primary Instructor: Robin Caton. This specially priced workshop concludes the summer series “Emotions, Intelligence, and the Mind.”

Workshop includes delicious vegetarian lunch.

Please RSVP at least 3 days in advance by calling (510) 809-1000 or e-mailing us at [email protected]. This ensures that we provide enough food for everyone.

*Weekend workshops at the Tibetan Nyingma Institute offer fresh insights in a gentle, meditative atmosphere. Workshop participants may arrange to stay overnight at the Institute.

**The Tibetan Nyingma Institute, founded and established in 1973 by Tibetan Lama Tarthang Tulku, overlooks the San Francisco Bay from a hillside just north of the University of California campus. Painted a vivid yellow, the three-story buildings have been said to resemble a Tibetan monastery. Climbing the staircase, you enter brightly colored rooms where you can sip a cup of tea, explore the many treasures of a small bookstore, or simply relax and enjoy the beauty of the sweeping views.
