Cherry Blossoms is a poignant celebration of beauty, new beginnings, and the acceptance of impermanence of life. This story is about the human life cycle and discovering renewal in the latter stages of life. The journey starts off in Germany and end up in Japan during the very special cherry blossom season.

Cherry Blosoms was directed by Doris Dorie, the German Buddhist filmmaker who also directed How To Cook Your Life. This elegantly beautiful film won the Best Film Award in the Seattle Film Festival and the the Outstanding Feature and Best Actor in the German Film Awards in 2008.
