Bandleader Stanley “Buckwheat” Dural first learned the accordion from zydeco legend Clifton Chenier while on tour as his organist.

The band released the GRAMMY-winning album Lay Your Burden Down in May 2009. It’s Buckwheat’s first win for Best Cajun and Zydeco album after 5 nominations in 3 different categories.
