“Now in it's 11th year, Brutal Sound Effects presents theme-oriented, bizarre sound shows. If you are of an open mind, and are willing to tie pillow sized earplugs to your head (optional) then this continuing oddball renegade sound brigade lobe massage is THE Festival for you. Gathered under the undomesticated tones of industrious over-construction, this blanket of stupifying martyr abyss will numb your toes, and mush your thoughts until they run streaming grey fluids out of your nose! Fantastical and always spiritually stuporous, BSF-goers will walk away with a ringing glory in the skull that can only be parodied with a trip to heaven on an audio rollercoaster ride hanging by one leg at the butt end of an Apollo rocket....indeed! This very special presentation will feature a conglomeration of nutjobs and thoughtful earfuzz from years past. Very special out of town guests will include Los Angeles Free
Music Society pioneer Joseph Hammer, and god-being from Baltimore “James Twig Harper”.” —BSF
