About Texas No Kill‘s Mission:

Texas No Kill strives to do just what its title implies: See a day when in Texas there is no need to kill our domestic animals in local shelters. To accomplish this, however, we must meet two objectives: To prevent the number of unwanted and uncared for animals, and ensure the animals that do exist, are healthy and well cared for in their homes. This means every cat and dog should be neutered or spayed, and every animal should have basic and routine preventive and medical care.
Texas No Kill works towards these goals through rescue and neuter assistance. Our neuter assistance efforts have included low income pet owners, catch and release feral cats, adoptive pet owners, and other rescue groups. The medical care we assist with includes: vaccinations, treatment for internal and external parasites, which includes heartworm treatment, and the treatment of various viral and bacterial infections and disease. In short, if an animal comes across it path, we want to enable its health and happiness while preventing it from reproducing.

Safe Respite is a sister organization to Texas No Kill.
