Hear works inspired by the poetic heritage of the Persian dynasties and the the Museum's Middle Eastern and Islamic Collections. The afternoon includes Cowell's mesmerizing integration of Western and Middle Eastern sounds, Ranjbaran's lush soundscapes, and Susan Oetgen's world premiere of her multi-media song cycle with her band, Likeness to Lily.
