Broken Disco is a monthly party that combines the talent of four Seattle electronic music collectives: Decibel, Fourthcity, Sensory Effect and Shameless. With the support of great local venue Chop Suey, each month showcases fantastic, internationally renowned talent. The idea of Mexican norteno riffs, drums, tuba and accordion combined with electronic music sounds like a mess waiting to happen, but Nortec Collective's crossbreeding works. The compilation 'Tijuana Sessions, Vol. 1' was inspired by the group.
