Broadway Camp Auditions May 31, 2009

TO PURCHASE AND REGISTER FOR AUDITIONS PARTICIPANTS MUST CALL 216-348-7909 ONLY. Auditions are required for the Advanced Broadway Camp. Teens must prepare two songs (an uptempo selection and a ballad) each containing 16 bars of music. They will also be taught a short dance combination as part of the audition. Video submissions are also accepted. PlayhouseSquare's annual Broadway summer camp for teens (14-19) is perfect for students who take acting, dance or singing lessons; participate in school or community stage productions; and/or dream of going on to perform in college or even professionally. This year's camp is being offered with MARY POPPINS, and will feature opportunities to interact with the cast and attend the show. The camp focuses on the triple threat of musical theater - acting, singing and dancing. Students leave the camp with a professional headshot and resume.
