Shown purposefully together, 'Bright Lights/Big City: Interpretations of the Constructed World' and 'Natural Selection: Interpretations of the Natural World' juxtapose works from the FWMoA's Permanent Collections that celebrate and challenge our urban and wild landscapes. Through the vehicle of their creativity, artists capture and interpret the world that surrounds us. ' Bright Lights/Big City' and 'Natural Selection' bring together works of disparate media and time-periods to highlight the variety of ways American culture relates and responds to our environs.
