Founded in 1971, Brigham Young University Ballroom Dance Company roots from Brigham Young University, the largest private university in the U.S.In the past 24 years, championship formation dancing, breath-takinglifts and spins—all performed in a seemingly endless stream ofshimmering costumes—no one does it better than the Ballroom DanceCompany. The company has toured with its variety showcase of Latin andinternational dance styles—including waltz, samba, foxtrot, andhustle—throughout Europe, the Middle East, the South Pacific, easternAsia, and the United States. They have also performed as special guest artists at ballroom dance competitions in China, Ukraine, and Hungary.In 2002, BYU Young Ambassadors performed on Winter Olympic Games inSalt Lake City, their incomparable excellence impressed the world.
