The band members include vocalist and guitarist drummer Eldridge Goins, bassist Seth Whitney and electric guitarists Colin Brooks and Steve Wedemeyer. Hailing from Austin, Austin Collins plays rock/country music. Macon Greyson officially came into existence on October 22, 1999. The catchphrases, "alternative country," "Americana" and "roots rock" have been used to describe their music, but in truth it mostly defies stereotype. Black Water Gospel is does not play gospel, but is a rock/folk/pop band from Austin, Texas.
