Brewery tour with Bay Area Beer Socials February 5, 2011

Beer lovers save this date, this should be an amazing and memorable event

We are going off to visit two of Northern California's best breweries and a brewpub that I hear makes some great beer in it's own right.

What we are going to get is transportation to the three beer destinations and back, three sample sets, a guided brewery tour, lunch, and some souvenirs. Maximum capacity of the bus is 25.

The regular price for the tour is $95 but we've been offered a $10 discount so $85 plus the $2.85 PayPal fee get's you a spot on the bus.

I know a lot of people like to wait until close to the date to decide on Meetup events but this one is different. This event will fill up soon so if you want to go do not delay in signing up.

Here's the itinerary as I understand it:

We will be picked up at Civic Center at 9:30. We will arrive at Bear Republic in Healdsburg around 11:00 for samples. Next we will be off to Hopmonk Tavern for samples and lunch. The lunch choices are here; please note your food choice in the RSVP notes or you will automatically get the burger with fries. Last stop will be Lagunitas for more beer samples and a tour.

We should be back to The City by 4:30 PM

Drinking beer is allowed on the bus and buying it at the various stops is encouraged.
