Brent McHugh: Toys and Whispers March 28, 2009

In this collection of works, McHugh explores the mystery of self discovery. McHugh states, "It's about finding the means to harmonize the dualities in our lives, clearing paths for growth and understanding." In the show's title, "toys" represent the actions we take that define who we are, and "whispers" represent our conscious minds as they guide us through building ourselves. With these thoughts in mind, McHugh has created a series of images exploring his own act of self discovery.
