Combining the culinary skills of Chef Lai from breez bistro.bar and the talented pottery artists from Ceramic House, Grand Mercure Roxy Singapore (豪华美爵乐斯酒店) brings you ‘CULINEARTH’ from 6th to 8th April 2012. This exclusive three day charity event is where ‘food meets art’ for a good cause during this Good Friday and Easter Day.

‘CULINEARTH’ – a collaboration between breez bistro.bar and Ceramic House will show you how ceramic pottery defies the boundaries of being a decorative art in households to a functional piece of object in your daily lives. Bringing you a dining experience that will leave your senses tantalizing for more, enjoy a special five course dinner menu prepared by Chef Lai, who has over 20 years of experience in the industry and an excellent knowledge of western and fusion cooking. These dishes will also be plated on the beautifully handmade ceramic dishes made by the artists from Ceramic House.

Exquisitely created by Chef Lai, the special three day menu features main dishes such as Duck Confit with Orange Sauce, a classic, flavourful French dish that is simply seasoned with herbs, salt and pepper, Miso Cod Risotto, a twist of Japanese to your Italian Risotto dish and Osso Bocco à la Milanese, a perfectly braised Veal Shank over a generous layer of mashed potato with a drizzle of Chef’s Brown Sauce. Dinner is never complete without an extraordinary Japanese fusion dessert - Deep Fried Sweet Potato Balls coated with crispy Palenta batter served with light cheese sponge cake layers with azuki beans and a sweet vanilla parfait, specially created by Chef Lai for this special ceramic dining experience.

Guests will be doing a good cause for charity when they order from the ‘CULINEARTH’ special menu. 20% of all proceeds from this ‘CULINEARTH’ event will be made to Apex Harmony Lodge, home for the dementia patients.

Ceramic plates and bowls are also available for purchase if the guests would like to bring home some dining pieces to add to their collection. In addition to that, a ceramic pottery exhibition hosted by Ceramic House will be at Grand Mercure Roxy Singapore’s newly revamped function room - Roxy 1, next to breez bistro.bar, from 11am to 10pm during the three day event.

If you’re an art enthusiast, a food lover or simply looking for an ideal place to enjoy your Easter weekends with your family, breez bistro.bar is the place to be.

The ‘CULINEARTH’ dinner menu will be available on the 6th to 8th of April 2012, for three days only.
