Breaking New Ground: Batty Bass Hits Shanghai with Hannah Holland (UK) July 11, 2008

East London’s notorious DJ/producer, Trailer Trash resident and self-confessed ‘bass junkie’ Hannah Holland has gone Global. Last year a mini tour of Berlin with her pioneering Bastard Batty Bass night - with partners in crime MC Chikaboo and Mama Shamone - Space in Ibiza, TDK, Field Day Festival in London and Exit festival in Serbia to a crowd of 20, 000 sharing a bill with legend Frankie Knuckles were a few highlights. She continues to tear it up across London, while taking her signature dirty, bass heavy, jackin electro, tech house, breaks sound to new dancefloors, having joined the ranks of Decked Out, home to Switch, Carl Craig and Erol Alkan.

As well as many more UK and worldwide gigs, Hannah continues to work on material in the studio for releases in 2008. Plus expect more mayhem from her own Bastard Batty Bass parties and the start of her new label Batty Bass records.
