On Thursday, August 12, two-time Grammy-winning polka/world music quintet Brave Combo will be celebrate the release of their newest CD, Kikiriki, with all the high-energy live flair the group is known for. Cat’s cradle is located at 300 East Main Street, Carrboro, NC 27510

Kikiriki’s dozen songs showcase Brave Combo at its best—from the Serbian brass band infused title track, to the polka-swinging rendition of “Just Because”, to the haunting, rain-drenched take on the “Polish National Anthem” and beyond, the collection explodes with the cornucopia of musical styles that listeners have come to expect from the band.
