Can you hear it? The distant creek of wagon wheels, an approaching horn blaring to the low thrum of a gypsy drum? From the wild far reaches of the north-west a marauding hoard of vaudevillians, The Vagabond Opera, will invade our little red parlour on Sunday, intent on stunning you with high flying low brow musical hijinks and purloining your better sensibilities. They’ll give you a good circusy cabaret once over, tenderizing and tantalizing your sinning flesh until it’s prime to be possessed with wild abandon by the frenzied Balkan fanfare that is the Brass Menazerie. Come with an unquenchable thirst, come capped in your fanciest hat, come with a pair of feet clad in red that can’t help but dance, dance, dance!
