They are what they are. Fans of Brand New appreciate the blunt, no-nonsense approach the group takes to its music. The Long Island quartet's second album is titled 'Deja Entendu,' French for "already heard." Singer/songwriter Kevin Devine is the frontman for Miracle of '86. His emotionally charged, beautifully crafted songs have yielded three solo efforts, including his most recent, 'Make the Clocks Move.' This tightly knit trio embraces sweeping, melodic, emotional territory similar to seminal artists Death Cab For Cutie, the Weakerthans and Pedro The Lion.
