The largest MS 150 in the nation and the largest cycling event in Texas, this annual tour takes cyclists from Houston through the scenic Texas Hill Country to finish at the State Capitol in Downtown Austin. Over 12,000 cyclists are expected to participate in the two-day, 180-mile ride from Houston to Austin in the 24th annual BP MS 150. The goal – to raise $14 million to support research to end multiple sclerosis and fund programs through the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Lone Star Chapter. It takes over 3,000 volunteers to make this event possible. With more than 25 different specialty areas, there’s a job for everyone. Log on to www.ms150.org to learn more about volunteering or to support a rider. Last year, 13,000 registered cyclists raised a record $13.5 million, exceeding expectations.
