Bowie Health Fair September 25, 2010

The Annual Bowie Health Fair is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 11 am to 3 pm. Receive health assessments from the more than 40 free or low cost screening services, health care consultations, health activities and the more than 40 exhibitors on hand to provide services and information to residents of Bowie and the Greater Bowie area.

Partnership for Animal will have a booth located in the Bowie Gymnasium at 100 Northview Dr. Bowie, MD. Please stop by to ask about our dogs and cats who are waiting for their forever homes. We will have handouts, give aways, T-shirts and information about your can make a difference by volunteering, fostering or adopting!

Services range from alternative health care options including acupuncture and Reiki to cholesterol and glucose testing, EKG’s, Glaucoma and vision tests, female (gynecological) exams, senior health screening and more.

The event will also include a Children’s exercise/activity area and a stage with local performances by dance troupes and companies located in Bowie. Come enjoy the performances and participate in Fitness Workouts, Zunba Gold, Tai Chi, Yoga demonstrations, and much more!”

The event is located along Health Center Drive (across from the Bowie Town Center) in buildings hosting the event - Bowie Gymnasium, Bowie Health Center, Bowie Physical Medicine Services, Bowie Senior Center, Dimensions Surgery Center, Prince Georges County Fire and EMS Department Northview Station #816 and Summerville at Woodward Estates. Parking is available at these facilities and in the parking lot of Bowie Town Center.
