Beat Research, the long-running Monday night riddim-fest at the Enormous Room, throws it's second superparty (Bouncement!) this time in association with Basstown Presents and Great Scott.

DJ /rupture (aka Jace Clayton) called Boston home for years before blowing up on the International stage. A longtime friend to the Beat Research core, Clayton was an original member of Boston's legendary Tone Collective party squad. Usually DJing on 3 turntables and with samplers, gear and CD players, too, Clayton has found a home on such world-respect labels as Tigerbeat 6. He's played and lived nearly everywhere and recently returned to NYC where he runs his own label: Soot Recordings. He recently finished a remix for hipster band Architecture in Helsinki. We are very excited to host Clayton for the first-time in years.

Wayne Marshall (aka Wayne and Wax) is one of Boston's most beloved soul scientists, returning from a teaching stint in Chicago. His Harvard class is the premiere class on beat scholarship in the world, and his blog is respected by thousands. Musically, Reggae riddims and Boston knowledge meet to make grooves for the mind and butt.

Erik Pearson (aka Baltimoroder) has his own informed sense of peak-time dance frenzy. A member of the Hearthrob party and bloghouse favorite, Baltimoroder is Basstown's fastest-rising producer and DJ. From River Gods to the Roxy, Pearson's rocked them all.

Anthony Flackett (aka DJ Flack) is a founding member of Beat Research and a professor of the beat at MassArt. There is no beat that Flack does know and use to drive the party nuts. He has a full-length of original music dropping this fall on Cozy Music.

Daviday (aka David Day) is the founder of PanAm Fridays, Latin-ized dance party at the Enormous Room, as well as founding Make It New Thursdays at the Middlesex Lounge. Day's been seen lately DJing at the Paper party.

Zebbler (aka Peter Berdovsky) is best-known as the dreadlocked artist drawn into the Moon-o-nite bomb scare of Boston, yet before and after is one of America's best LED artists. Expect wild visuals from a visionary.

The first-ever Bouncement at the Linwood, transformed a metal venue into a booming dance club, and Part 2 won't be much different. Headlined by such an accomplished and Boston-bred artist as DJ /Rupture, we expect madness.
