Boston Civic Symphony presents "Meet the Orchestra" October 18, 2009

The Boston Civic Symphony presents "Meet the Orchestra" - a family concert featuring a performance by Joyce Kulhawik, former WBZ arts and entertainment reporter, narrating "Peter and the Wolf." Fourteen year old pianist Mackenzie Melemed, 2009 co-winner of the James R. Powers Concerto Competition, will perform Grieg's Piano Concerto in A Minor. There will be an instrument petting zoo for school age children at 1:00 sponsored by Leonard's Music and Johnson String Instruments.
