Formed in 2005, the rootsy bluegrass band Boris Garcia mixes mandolin with electric guitar to make a danceable folk/jam hybrid that ranges from freeform improvisation to traditional Americana. Red Molly's material ranges from Appalachian ballads to pop/country standards and contemporary folk.
