The aim of the Borderline festival -- along with bringing inventive video art to the Chinese capital -- is providing Chinese video with a long-term platform for exchange and collaboration and to promote emerging artists, by giving them the chance to contribute work through an international Call for Entry. And last but not least, as a non-profit event, Borderline links up its artistic practice with UNAIDS and UNESCO, to address to the HIV Awareness topic, bringing art closer to society and the other way round.

The organizers have sketched a Borderline itinerary leading you from the Beijing Cubic Art Center into our different venues in 798. Continue your trip on a shuttle bus departing from Timezone8, bringing you to Platform China in Caochangdi, the heart of the festival. Enjoy!
