Band Members

Bria Skonberg-Trumpet, vocals (Vancouver, BC, Canada)
Bria has been playing on stage for 20 years. She manages and co-leads 3 bands in the Pacific NW, The Big Bang JB, The Mighty Aphrodite JB &Bria’s Hot 5.

Jim Fryer-Trombone, euphonium, vocals
Performing since he was 16 in Boston, Jim has performed with the likes of Rosemary Clooney, Aretha Franklin, and Frank Sinatra Jr. He has recorded on film scores for Robert DeNiro’s The Good Shepard. He is touring now with the Titan Hot 7

Anita Thomas-reeds (Well known West Coast player, an Aussie, new to East Coast)
By the age of 10, Anita was studying guitar, flute, clarinet and singing choir. She focused on classical clarinet and piano in a special high school conservatorium of music in Sydney. This summer she will be teaching at a jazz camp in Sacramento CA

Mark Shane-Piano
Mark began his pro career in dance bands in NYC. While playing at "Eddie Condon" jazz club he added a distinctive new voice to the Condon tradition of ensemble playing. He developed his style through exposure to the works of James P Johnson, Fats Waller, Earl Hines, Teddy Wilson and Art Tatum.

Kelly Friesen-String bass
Canadian born has appeared in several films including Woody Allen’s Sweet & Lowdown in 1999. He has done commercial work for Martin Scorsese and appeared in an episode of the CW network hit series Gossip Girl.

Jim Lawlor-Drums
Jim began playing at 20 after moving from Philadelphia to Atlantic City and has been a familiar sight on most casino stages since 1979. He has been mainly with the Midiri Brothers small groups and big band since 1989.

Directions
I-295 South to Exit 40 (Moorestown Rt 38) follow off ramp to Rt 38 West. *Go 1.5 miles and bear right onto Mt Laurel Rd off ramp (2nd traffic light). Go ½ mile to Main St and make left. Go 2/10 mile to Chester Ave and make right. Church is on left.

I-295 North to Exit 40b (Moorestown Rt 38) onto Rt 38 W. *Follow above instructions to church.

I-95 North & South to Betsy Ross Bridge to Rt 90 to Rt 73 South or Tacony-Palmyra Bridge to Rt 73 South to Rt 130 N (Cinnaminson/Trenton). Go around on ramp onto Rt 130 then go 2/10 mile to Church Rd exit. Follow Church Rd 3.5 miles and turn left onto Central Ave. Go ½ mile & turn right onto Chester Ave. Church will be on right.
