SIPA presents a panel discussion about a journey from bootstrapping to customer acquisition for your startup.

The term bootstrapping comes from the German legend of Baron Munchhausen pulling himself out of the sea by pulling on his own bootstraps.

Despite the dream of many entrepreneurs to meet a VC with deep pockets, the fact is that a high percent of business owners struggle alone, pulling themselves up by their own bootstraps. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. With a little luck and a lot of pluck, bootstrapping a business can be both financially and emotionally rewarding.

So what should an Entrepreneur do? There is no single recipe for bootstrapping a company, but there are some essential ingredients.

In many ways bootstrapping a company is fundamentally different than using outside funding. Learn how our panel members were able to make it work, what they would do differently today, and why they chose to bootstrap.

Attend the event to learn:

* How to bootstrap your own startup?
* Lessons Learned by successful bootstrapped companies?
* What are the essential ingredients for bootstrapping?
* Options to fund a business?

Panelists:

1. Manish Chandra, Founder & CEO, Kaboodle, Inc.
2. Carl J. Rohling, Esq., V.P. Business Development, RadioTime
3. Vasudev Bhandarkar, Venture Partner, BlueRun Ventures (Moderator)
