Live on stage, Bootie is proud to present a rare appearance from famed turntablist DJ P, co-creator of the pioneering 2000 mashup mix album, "Uneasy Listening, Vol. 1," which blended everything from '80s new wave, classic and alternative rock, as well as the usual can't-lose hip-hop favorites. Rolling Stone even named "Uneasy Listening" as one of the "Top Musical Moments" in 2002 -- two years after its release! He can mix Pat Benatar's "Love Is A Battlefield" over the Pharcyde's classic "She Keeps On Passing Me By" and turn it into a blend about love lost that gets everyone on their feet, even people who think they don't like hip-hop. His underground hip-hop mixes of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" and U2's "With or Without You" have become word-of-mouth classics with underground DJs.

DJ P is one of the few DJs left still doing it live on turntables ... ALL VINYL, no laptop & no Serato! Come watch him kick out the mashup jams old-skool.

In the upstairs room, Jeffrey Paradise and Friends -- from the clubs Blow Up and 1994 -- will be spinning electro and '90s Euro-dance mashups for your dancing pleasure. And for the Midnight Mashup Show, it's John!John! vs. Sarah & the Bootie Bumpettes, as they perform "Party & Bullshit (In The USA)."

Launched in 2003 in San Francisco by DJs Adrian & the Mysterious D, Bootie was the first club night in the United States dedicated solely to the burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with monthly parties in nine cities on three continents. Mixing and matching every conceivable musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party where everyone feels welcome, Bootie provides the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation -- with free mashup CDs given away like candy!

Bootie's DJs and house band Smash-Up Derby, as well as guest mashup DJs from around the world, keep your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations, celebrating -- and satirizing -- the many different forms of music. Bootie also presents the infamous Midnight Mashup Show, featuring local drag and burlesque performers. Bootie showcases the best mashup productions from around the globe ... because one song at a time just isn't enough!
