Bootie Valentines Day Mashup Party! Lovers Lounge, twisted love songs, more! February 14, 2009

It's Valentine's Bootie! Whether you love Valentine's Day or loathe it, Bootie has got something for you! From Seattle's original mashup party FrankenBoot we're happy to welcome back DJ FREDDY, KING OF PANTS, who always brings the mashup love. Live house band SMASH-UP DERBY will be playing a set of twisted love songs, and the aptly-and-appropriately-named VALENTINE will be portraying Cupid in a "lovely" midnight mashup show! The upstairs will be transformed into the "Lovers Lounge" -- dance and make out to all sorts of love songs and slow jams, with sets from DJ EARWORM, as well as your resident DJs. Color theme for the night -- wear red (or pink)!

We heart DJ FREDDY, KING OF PANTS, so we are LOVING the fact that he can join us for our special Valentine's party! This time, he'll be spinning a special prime-time set on the main floor. As the creator and DJ of FrankenBoot, Seattle's own long-running mashup club, Freddy always knows how to rock the party!

11 PM: House band SMASH-UP DERBY plays a set of twisted love songs

If you hate Valentine's Day, then you'll love SMASH-UP DERBY's set this Saturday, as Bootie's house band tears through a set of twisted love songs! Expect to hear some "Tainted Love," "Crazy In Love," and "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love" ... all mashed-up, of course! The band might even play an "Epic" new song as well!

Upstairs room: LOVERS LOUNGE with guest DJ EARWORM & resident Bootie DJs

This Saturday, the upstairs room of the DNA Lounge will be transformed into the LOVERS LOUNGE, with low lighting, candy hearts, and lots of Valentine's decorations! DJ EARWORM, as well as your resident DJs, will be playing a mix of love songs you can dance to, as well as some sexy slow jamz so you can make out on the dance floor!

Midnight Mashup Show: VALENTINE as CUPID

It wouldn't be Valentine's Day without ... VALENTINE! Considering his name, how could we NOT have him perform this Saturday? He's one of our favorite performers, and for this special Midnight Mashup Show, he'll have "the look of love" in the role of CUPID!
