They say that celebrity deaths always happen in threes, and in May, we lost three amazing musicians all within weeks of each other. So Bootie is doing a special Triple Tribute, honoring the music of MCA of the Beastie Boys, Donna Summer, and Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees, with resident DJs A Plus D as well as special guests, music bloggers' favorite female mashup duo, The Jane Doze, from New York City.

At 11 PM, Hubba Hubba Revue -- Bootie's favorite burlesque variety show -- will also be taking part in the Triple Tribute. Hosted by Kingfish, the teasing and tantalizing extravaganza will feature five of the Bay Area's sexiest and sauciest burlesque performers. And in the upstairs room, Dope415.com brings the vibe of an upstart warehouse party back to the club with H.Y.S.L. From bass and synths, to hip hop and snare drums, get eclectic, get down, but always "Handle Your Shit, Lady!"

Launched in 2003 in San Francisco by A Plus D -- aka DJs Adrian & Mysterious D -- Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities on four continents. Voted "Best Club Night" for the past six years, Bootie keeps your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations, mixing and matching every musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party. Providing the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation -- and free mashup CDs given away like candy -- it's a place where everyone is welcome.
