Bootie Seattle is back, just in time for Valentine's Day! Whether you love Valentine’s Day or loathe it, Bootie has got something for you! From San Francisco, Bootie's founders and DJs Adrian & Mysterious D will spin twisted love-themed mashups throughout the night, and their set will feature a few LIVE VOCAL mashups as well! Don’t forget to wear red!

Seattle's own DJ Freddy, King of Pants -- from the late, great FrankenBoot -- will join in on the V-Day action, and DJ Maxx Destrukt will get the night kick-started. And we've got FREE Bootie mashup CDs for the first 100 people through the door!

Launched in 2003 in San Francisco by DJ duo Adrian & Mysterious D -- aka A Plus D -- BOOTIE was the first club night in the United States dedicated solely to the then-burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and has since become the biggest all-mashup event in the world, with regular parties in multiple cities on four continents, along with various one-off events from Beijing to Brazil.

Bootie showcases the best in mashup song productions from producers worldwide ... with nearly a decade's worth of the best of the best in bastard pop. You'll hear songs hot off the laptop as well as classic bootlegs, keeping your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations. Bootie celebrates -- and satirizes -- the many different forms of music.

Mixing and matching every musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party where everyone feels welcome, Bootie provides the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation -- with free mashup CDs given away like candy. Bootie brings all kinds of people together, mashing up the audience and uniting them on the dancefloor.

As the SF Weekly wrote, "Vinyl-only DJs may sniff at this pair's hard drives, but Bootie's DJs certainly know how to rock the party ... committedly unpretentious and ready to rock, they deliver the perfect remedy for the occasionally snooty, often staid dance scene."
