Bootie Seattle is back! After a successful debut party in June, BOOTIE - the world's biggest all-mashup dance party - returns to CHOP SUEY on FRIDAY OCTOBER 8.

Bootie spins only the finest in bootleg mashups from producers worldwide. Free Bootie mashup CDs, Midnight Mashup Show, and an audience as mashed-up as the music!

Launched in 2003 in San Francisco by DJ duo ADRIAN & MYSTERIOUS D -- aka A PLUS D -- BOOTIE was the first club night in the United States dedicated solely to the then-burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and has since become the biggest all-mashup event in the world, with regular parties in multiple cities on four continents, along with various one-off events from Beijing to Brazil.

Also on the decks will be Seattle's own DJ FREDDY, KING OF PANTS (formerly of Seattle's first mashup party FrankenBoot), and rounding out the insanity, Bearracuda's RENTTECCA takes the stage for the infamous Midnight Mashup Show!

Bootie showcases the best in mashup song productions from producers worldwide ... with nearly a decade's worth of the best of the best in bastard pop. You'll hear songs hot off the laptop as well as classic bootlegs, keeping your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations. Bootie celebrates -- and satirizes -- the many different forms of music.

Mixing and matching every musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party where everyone feels welcome, Bootie provides the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation -- with free mashup CDs given away like candy. Bootie brings all kinds of people together, mashing up the audience and uniting them on the dancefloor.

As the SF Weekly wrote, "Vinyl-only DJs may sniff at this pair's hard drives, but Bootie's DJs certainly know how to rock the party ... committedly unpretentious and ready to rock, they deliver the perfect remedy for the occasionally snooty, often staid dance scene."
