We've got a Santa-sized toy bag of yuletide season mashup treats for you, including a special Christmas mashup set from DJ ADRIAN at 10 PM, a holiday-themed midnight mashup show from R.A.I.D., and from Chicago, indie mashup duo THE HOOD INTERNET. Plus, anyone wearing a Santa hat will receive A Very Bootie Christmas CD! Not only that, but club photographers Drunkrockers.com will be hosting a toy drive, and it's the official SANTACON LA after-party! Expect lots of drunk Santas in the house! From Chicago, indie mashup duo ABX and STV SLV -- better known as THE HOOD INTERNET -- take the stage for a special showcase set. This infamous pair have quickly made a name for themselves in the music blogosphere as the go-to indie-hop mashup guys. Marauding the pop, rap and R&B landscapes to mash up Dirty South rap to Canadian indie rock to "French Touch" electro, these Pitchfork-approved mashup boys have played CMJ showcases to South by Southwest, and have enjoyed sets alongside Diplo, The Cool Kids, Z-Trip and The Go! Team.
DJ ADRIAN spins a "very special" all-Christmas mashup set: 10-11 PM
It's been a holiday tradition at our Bootie parties in San Francisco since 2005, and this year, DJ ADRIAN is bringing it to LA! Adrian has a not-so-secret love of holiday music, and from 10-11 PM, he'll be spinning a "very special" set of mashed-up Christmas songs. We promise it will be unlike any holiday music you've heard before ... and you'll be able to dance to it!
Holiday Midnight Mashup Show starring R.A.I.D.
They're practically Bootie LA's resident dance troupe, and they're doing a special holiday midnight mashup show! R.A.I.D. (Random Acts of Irreverent Dance) will be peforming to DJ Schmolli's risque Christmas mashup, "Back Door Santa Gettin' It On"
