Summer is well and truly over and winter is coming. There is a chill in the air, a frost in the heart and the darkness of night draws in ever earlier. But we at La Rêve are rubbing our hands, and not just to keep them warm; this is our season. The crooked cabaret grins broaden, the overly made-up eyes glint in the premature darkness and we welcome the crowds of London to huddle in our basement lair. O miserable souls, come in from the cold, come out of the fogs and share in the warmth of our limelight. Once again the pale, the dark, the bitter and the twisted rule the land. Cabaret is all.
