Book Launch - In Between Corridors by Laisha K.Cooper. The launch will be followed by a short dramatized reading of the pieces by the author, Anju Taraporevala and Raell Padamsee's ACE Production; background score on the sitar by Madhusudan Kumar. In Between Corridors comes from a belief that every person has the right to make his or her own choices. It emphasizes that all options lead to a pair of doors. Depending on the door one chooses, two new doors open, thus creating a situation where life is led through a series of decisions, sometimes impulsive, at other times deliberate. This book is about those individuals who may have opened certain doors but are entangled within its corridors. Who can go back? Who can go further? And who can survive the thunderstorm? The characters in this book live everyday lives, try to resolve personal conflicts, and stri ve to master their imperfections. In Between Corridors is a tribute to all human beings who have, at some point, struggled to find a sense of direction, and a sense of self. About the Author : Laisha Cooper, aged twenty-three, was brought up in Mumbai. She is self-confessedly, a dreamer with a passion for telling stories. Apart from writing, Laisha enjoys cooking and painting, and is a film-enthusiast. She runs a family-owned chain of salons.
