More than just a best-selling artist, respected guitarist, expressive singer and accomplished songwriter, Bonnie Raitt is an institution in American music. Also known for her life-long commitment to social activism, Raitt is involved with the environmental movement since the mid '70s and is a founding member of MUSE (Musicians United for Safe Energy). Her 19th album, 'Slipstream' marks her return to the studio after a 17-year absence and celebrates the launch of her own label, Redwing Records.
