Current TV is an international cable television network carried in 50 million homes globally. Current is dedicated to re-defining news and information for a young 18-34 year old demographic, and 30 percent of Current’s short form programming (2-7 minute non fictional segments) are created by its viewers. This content, called VC2 is what makes Current so unique, the fact that anyone (hobbyists, filmmakers, etc.) can produce a piece for Current, upload it to it’s site (current.tv), get it on TV and get paid for their work.

This year Current is working with the folks at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival to create unique programming that will air within the festival (June 14th-17th) as well as on Current TV itself. Current is utilizing the creative music loving fan base attending Bonnaroo to help create this blend of programming. We are looking for all types of stories from all types of people. If you have a video camera (be it high end prosumer quality or cheap one chip consumer quality) and you’d like to share your story, we want to help you get it produced. Whether you’re a polished filmmaker/storyteller/editor or you’ve never produced a thing in your life, we’d like to get you involved. We’re looking for stories that take place prior to and during the festival. Some of the things we’re looking for include, but are not limited to:

--- Journeys: are you taking a long road trip to Bonnaroo or getting ready for the event in a unique way? Take us along on your pre-party rituals, journeys and adventures.

--- Art: Are you creating something artistic and bringing it to Bonnaroo. Show us what, why and where you’re doing your thing.

--- Band Stories: Do you have a particularly fascinating obsession with one of the bands playing at Bonnaroo? Show us why this year is going to be special.

--- Love and Relationships: Are you bringing a special someone to Bonnaroo? Are you getting married there? Are you re-uniting with old friends or family? Give us the full scoop.

--- Camp Life: What’s unique about where you are staying at Bonnaroo? Is there a theme, a unique or creative setup, etc...?

Email us at [email protected] with any questions, suggestions and most importantly, if you think you can produce a short segment for us.

Finally, don’t forget to drop by the Current production lounge where you can drop by to ingest tapes, check out a camera, edit, etc.
