Bones is a very cool, sort of experimental duo out of Baton Rouge. Playing on 9/21 @ The Funhouse (206 5th Ave. N, Seattle WA 98109 206-374-8400) with Seattle's own Drive It Like You Stole It. They say "Tom Waits meets White Stripes." Offbeat mag says "delta blues with a punk attitude and a bit of stripper jazz thrown in for fun." Invited to play at the recent Bonnaroo Festival much to their own surprise and thanks to Ben Jaffe from Preservation Hall! They are putting the record out themselves on 10/3.
